Starting your own business is never easy, but going it alone is even harder. There are so many obstacles to overcome, it’s no wonder that so many new business fail within their first couple of years, regardless of the skill and dedication of their owners.

Whether you’ve been through one yourself, or have worked for a company that has had to, you’ll know it can be a nightmare of bureaucracy and intense scrutiny into every aspect of your business. For a new care business just getting off the ground, it is, without a doubt, the hardest thing you will have to do. You’re looking at potentially 100s of hours of your life dedicated to it, with no guarantee of success. What’s worse is that it’s not a one off. You’ll be expected to adhere strictly to its criteria year after year, and could have a spot inspection at any time.
